Show your work then:sas1:

I wish I were grilling right now, weather today is perfect for it. :blessed:

Regardless, this isn't even a situation that calls for any "prove it" pics. Anybody with a summer of grilling experience under their belt and decent culinary skills can make that exact plate you posted in your OP. Any grillmaster on this board will tell you that. I'm sure it's delicious but it's nothing awe-inspiring

You do know how to cook food on an outdoor grill, right? :patrice:

Nothing. Summer time is almost here. I can literally show up to a few parks and play ball with some cats and get invited to a cookout. Anyone in the Chicago area who stays up North *might* vouch that if you show up to the right park on the weekends (Warren Park for instance) and you come across some Africans pulling their gear from the cars, they will throw an invite to eat with them even though they haven't seen you a day in their lives.

It do look good, though. Just gimme some Sweet Baby Rays for the dog and im making that plate disappear.
I mean, thats the least those tethers can do for coming over there taking up all the FBA opportunities while shucking and jiving for massa :troll:

not buying the family cookout plate...i guess i'd pay a cake, as that's what i usually contribute to the big family BBQs, immediate fam, i'm usually the one cooking damn near everything
I'll bring a couple cases of pop for distant fam. (not cuz i'm lazy but because i don't know what type of dishes everybody else bringing and i would legit be hurt if i brought some homemade mac n cheese only to see everybody eating somebody elses while mine gathers flies. :mjcry:)
But for immediate fam, i'll actually cook something or at least bring some meat for the grill.

I always eat my salad and I get it with my food. So I’d want my salad with my meal. I can’t eat that much heavy food with nothing light. I’ll start feeling lethargic

Edit: Real talk, I probably wouldn’t eat all that in one sitting. Give me either the burger or the hot dog, not both.
My grandma(rip) used to make a 7 layer salad for cookouts. People tore that shyt up.
Wasn't healthy at all though. I don't remember the recipe though
but it looked something like this. she had a reputation for not being the best cook though. so maybe thats why i don't see people bringing it back.

I’d pay however much it costs me to make basic ass grilled food.

It doesn’t look bad though

Literally every single one I've been to my entire life.

Some cookouts charge extra for BBQ sauce so I usually eat my meat dry.

You might wanna keep a "Kill Bill" list of people to exact revenge upon for doing you dirty by charging you to attend their damn BBQ. :unimpressed:

Gotta give the side eye to the greedy mufukkas who get a burger AND hot dog. You can get one or the other in addition to the chicken but to get both is just being greedy.
that is a chicken leg in the hamburger bun, they have what looks like 3 pieces of chicken and a hot dog.

and every BBQ i been to been a meat extravaganza :shaq: people always got a ribs, chicken, and a link on one plate...if there are burgers, that's usually the first meat on the grill to hold nikkas over until the real meat is done and all the sides show up. what petite plate cookouts yall goin to :scust:
