That’s pretty much what I feel and have seen. The real rapes are underreported and a lot of the reported ones are false. So it makes it harder for real rape victims to be taken seriously.

It's what bothers me the most. I would really want to help those who are being truthful, having control taken away from you is traumatic enough.

Then they gotta figure out how to work with the pain, while the person who did it walks among us to do it again.

The ones who lie mess it up for everyone, so instead, humans take the route of less resistance and assume guilt from the beginning.

Theres once some "study " that people usual quote about false accusations being 1 or 2%....

There was a guy who did a more detailed study
Saying it was wayyy higher, I think almost in the 70 percentile.

I've 3 girlfriends...not just some chicks I was fukking, but 3 girlfriends that were raped. Went into to explicit detail for me to think they were lying. Actually had to stop to intervene with one when she saw dude in real life after many years and was going to cut dude with a broken bottle.

I know it happens, and it's difficult to report. But these other chicks lying for whatever reason fukk it up for everyone else.

Fair enough. I don't know how the interactions went and I know my messaging is important, but looking at my first post on this topic, I know lying about rape is a possibility. I'm of the mindset, trust but verify. To me, it just was telling how detailed the stories were and the PTSD I saw each of them had, yet still not report it.

I won't delve into all the details, but shorty I intervened with was a kid who was being raped by her babysitters kid. There was nothing for me to be setup with. It was me stopping my girl at the time from potentially going to jail.

I was reading an article the other day where feminists were asked how they would feel if there son was accused of rape. A huge chunk of responses said that statistically (60-70%) of rape accusations are true; & based off that statistic there son is probably guilty and that they would disown there own son/seek justice for the victim.So where does that leave the other 30-40%?


I’ll be honest, atleast from what I’ve seen in real life 8/10 rape accusations have been false. Im talking from people I know personally (I was in the military so I saw a lot + college & high school). Most were found to be untrue. There was also a pattern of women bringing it up when they were caught cheating.

So for brehs who have worked in law enforcement or any other related field that deals with this a lot, how often do you think false rape accusations occur? Is it overstated or does it really happen a lot from what you’ve personally seen?
