How often do u listen to albums on cd or do u listen to them on cds at all?

i used to have a decent cd collection but being broke put an end to that. the past few years i've started to really miss physical copies and been eyeing this cd player.

Hard to go wrong with Onkyo. I have 2 Sony old school DVD players that I use as CD transports..

I listen to CDs in the car. Aux or Bluetooth takes too long to set up for quick drives

For long drives, I'll hook up my phone.

I only have one CD and that’s cause it’s not online due to licensing issues, but even then I just uploaded it to my iCloud

I still have my CDs and I buy CDs... I spent weeks many years ago ripping all my CDs to MP3 320Kbps...
I either rip or download new albums.. but 80% of what I download I buy..

But when I listen .. I only listen to albums.. or I may seldom do an artist shuffle or several artist shuffle..

I had hundreds and hundreds of CDs. Trimmed it down over the years and when I lost my apt from the hurricane I just tossed them bc I didn’t even have anything to play them on anymore.

But what I really regret is tossing some mixtapes over the years. Not everything is on the internet. Especially those local DJ mixes from the 90s. There’s a lot I wish I could listen to again or upload for others looking for them.

C/s the mixtapes, I had a lot of the big ones from that whole 98-05 era as well as local shyt, wish I would’ve had those uploaded before my collection was stolen.

But, then again, I’m usually able to find most, not all, of the key songs I want to revisit on YouTube or datpiff/livemixtapes so all good I guess.

I also had a lot of house and other electronic stuff mixes of white label records with no track list. The more famous ones have been uploaded, no way I can find the local ones. Sucks but ironic that the tapes I miss and the CDs I don’t give a shyt about.

I stream now on the go tho, very conveniant and play vinyl at home when I'm chillin
