3 times a year. I lost a couple of back teeth playing football as a teen and I got implants put in so I go every 4 or 5 months.

Cleanings are fairly cheap. But you can purchase dental insurance its not super expensive.

I had a visit with the Oral Hygienist, a tooth removal and my retainer fitting last year and they told me that the Oral Hygienist was not considered an essential service even though I pay for it

last time i went to the dentist was when i was still in the military , so 7 years ago.

I do have an upcoming appointment on the 31st, and i also floss/mouthwash and use an electric toothbrush so
i dont think they will find anything bad.

I had a tooth pulled in 2021, i don’t recommend it for anyone.

NEVER got to the dentist if everything is cool. Only thing they do is f*** up your teeth and give themselves long term customers. A periodic tooth cleaning is cool so they can properly use the plaque scraping tool but if you feel comfortable you can even do that yourself.

Brush 2-3 times a day, floss, and mouthwash is all you need. A relative of mine had good/decent teeth, got recommended a root canal in the back almost a decade ago and now has worse teeth complications than before they ever went. Personally I got all my wisdom teeth in just gucci.​

Twice a year.But if i got an important event coming up i go get my teeth whitened. If you dont brush/floss your teeth everyday and you havent been to the dentist in 5+ years then you might have cavities and not even know it.

Beyond that you might need oral surgery which gets charged out of pocket
