Yeah, just try to go regularly if you have insurance. I don't like going to the dentist either but if my company pays for it, why not :yeshrug:

I think some universities have insurance packages too, my university had a dental insurance package and you only had to pay like $90 a year to get your teeth cleaned once or twice a year

yeah, and it makes a world of difference too :blessed:

Whenever I'm due for a cleaning. Maybe twice a year. Unless I need other work done. Those that haven't gone in a few years better go. You think everything looks fine but there's more than just what appears on the surface of your teeth. You don't wanna have to get fillings or root canals when it's not needed. Go consistently.

I just started going again last year after not going for 6 years.

still never had a cavity or had to get a tooth pulled :blessed: even during that time period I wasn't flossing heavy but now I do it daily.

At least once a year, but I try to aim for twice a year. This year I'm going to end up going 3 times because I have to get a gum cleaning/treatment for some periodontal work I had done a couple of years ago.

has been at least a decade. no coffee, very little sugar, brush and floss and you can remineralize your teeth. there are true stories of cavities disappearing due to such changes in diet and oral hygiene
