How often do y'all use y'all car horn?

My commute both ways is a lot of interchange between different highways so the amount of dumb shyt people do has me wearing it out

Been a long time since I’ve done it out of anger due to the higher propensity for violence these days.

I only do it now to alert a driver that may be about to run into me. Or if I’m behind someone who hasn’t noticed that the light has turned green, I’ll give them a little toot after like 5secs.

(But i had picked the wrong side.. So wifey was struggling to stretch the hose over the trunk of the car)

everyday i use my car because the horn automatically honks twice when i walk away from it to tell me its locked

Very sparingly...

1. If someone is about to potentially cause an accident with me, or
2. If the car in front of me at the light doesn't move immediately, they generally have a count of three Mississipis before I press the horn. This happens rarely.

I just got finished living in NYC for two years, and mfs use the horn like it's the gas pedal. Shyt is extremely annoying and unnecessary most of the time. The absolute worst was when I would be upstairs tryna sleep.

Why

Not sure what it is but I usually expect the person in front of me to realize the light is green since they probably have their eye off the light for a few seconds.

I also don’t blow my horn the minute the light turns green which seems to be a poor New York trait.
