Did you have to root at all?

I think I will unless I can find a way to get the Tab to charge and send music through the USB to-go cable. I have a Sony system that is the head unit, digital processor, and a add-on usb/audio device (the DAC is from the usb input), basically you select USB on the head unit and that is the tablet. I keep the audio from the USB Audio app set the same as a cd would be from the head unit.

I tried to avoid it, but in order to unlock the full power of Tasker, I had to root.

I had an Alpine unit that I kept in the glove compartment. I charged with USB, but used the headphone jack for music (the gen 1 nexus 7 couldn't send music through USB from my research, smh). Using the headphone jack was fine, but it created the issue where turning the car off didn't stop playback, so I needed Tasker to handle that.

I have a galaxy tab and a mini ipad but minus when I fly I have no use for them. Feels awkward as hell typing on em.

I used my ipad mini to take notes and read books.

I use my Mini nearly daily to read, and to surf the Internet when I'm at work and don't want to bring my laptop.

I copped an IPad Air because I was using my mac to stream to my tv and needed something to browse with. Now I use it every day in bed, bathroom etc for web browsing. Only use my mac now for design/beat or life management activities

Also since texts go directly to my IPad and it holds the same apps, I don't use my iphone as much at home either.

I don't even use my laptop no more breh. No lag and windows 8 is perfect. I could only imagine how incredible the surface pro 4 is going to be

Used to use it for work, had the ipad mini then a LG tab, I got me the note 4 and have no reason for a tab anymore, this phone handles everything I thrown at it. My son and nephew love the tablet. No lie tabs to me are pointless now. Note 5 I'm patiently waiting. Hurry the fukk up.
