My girl thinks I’m paranoid but that’s the problem with most women, especially pretty ones: they grow up very naive. They don’t sense danger until it’s too late. Not victim blaming but a lot of them are oblivious to danger 9/10.
My mom is like this even now. I tell her as SOON as she gets in the car early mornings, just lock the door. She's thinks I'm noid but how hard is it to flip your finger to lock a door vs someone possibly seeing what time u leave daily and sneaking up on you while ur letting the car warm up? Especially when you are an unaware, unassuming person
My ex too. She lives in a partly gentrified area West Dallas with $500k new homes, but there's still gunshots daily. I tolr her she needs a gun. And she would say I (me) need to protect her. I'm like, "i can't be here 24/7 or around you 100% of the time....you need to be able to protect yourself"
Or then they say "God will protect me" . I'm like yeah, but God also gave humans the logic to make a gun. Even on a base level, God gave you combat fighting forms to protect yourself with your hands/feet etc....point being, the logic of protection is there. Every living creature was given some form of self-defense method
