says who?

jigga was over 21 when he first got on for real.

Chuck D from PE was 27 when he got on.

so it all depends.

your life is your life so do what you want and if other people dislike you for it that's their problem. Just be careful cause some people are jealous of others expressing themselves and might want to try to tear you down for being different.

never just make sure ur shyt is age appropriate

Yup, can't be looking old as fukk talking about being in the streets fighting people half your size when you older than Method Man. :skip: That Baby Boy syndrome is too rampant in Hip Hop these days. Imagine a 40 year old going to a club with bytches half his age and looking foolish as hell trying to play catch up with the latest fashion and clang. shyt is happening way too much these days.

i think if you are trying to be a mainstream star then trying to START after 30 is very very verrrrry difficult...because the label wants to sell you to teenagers, its hard to sell a (new) grown ass man to kids, if you look young then maybe your chances are better because then they can just lie about your age, ha. but if you going the indie route, it makes no difference if you 20 or 40, its all about the music.
