How old were you when you found out Stringer Bell wasn’t from Baltimore?

:mjlol:When he threw Avon on the ground that's when his accent came out. That's when I knew.

Although I knew before I watched The Wire, he did okay. He had some slip ups though.

This scene right here was atrocious though. A lot of Brit actors struggle when their character has to yell and/or show a lot of emotion.

Back in the day, I just thought Baltimore nikkas had mush mouth syndrome but, as an adult I hear that British accent loud and clear :heh:

I knew that from the beginning. Avon, Wee Bay, Bodie, Deangelo ALL sounded like they were from NY

I didn't know Stringer was British, but I DEFINITELY knew he wasn't from no damn Baltimore....

Shout out to Michael K Williams though. He was the only non-Baltimore native that actually tried

Avon- chicago
D'Angelo - Baltimore/NYC (he said that he grew up in both cities)
Bodie - NJ
Wee Bay - NYC

It's Wee Bey
How are you going to spell a legend's name incorrectly?
