PS5 & Switch 2, you can play essentially any game you want for at least the next 5 years. Assuming all Xbox games comes to PS5 which it has been the case.

I do think for someone younger, Gamepass is a remarkable value. I would have loved it back when I was a kid.

With that being said, considering that the majority of us here are adults. I feel like most of us wouldn't have the time like we did back then.

Obviously, if one is willing to build a PC it could play everything from PS5 and more than likely emulate all Switch 2 games in theory. Of course, the cost of a gaming PC is the big question. From what I have seen, to get a PC on the scale of PS5 it would be 2–3 times the cost. Plus, with all the shyt with Trump and his tariffs, building a PC will be more expensive. Ultimately, it comes down to what is the performance you want to play your games and what you are willing to pay.

I don't know why y'all keep presenting Astrobot as the end all be all reason to own a PS5.

It’s the only actual PS5 exclusive that exists right now.

If Exclusives are the reason to own the console. Then Astro Bot is the only game to point to.

I've had a PS5 since 2020, and it wasn't because of ONE game. Since then, I've quite a few games that's on there exclusively and still waiting for more. It has served me well along with my gaming PC.

Which PS5 exclusive you talmbout??

Switch 2 is the next console/handheld I buy and that's it for the gen.

I'll NEVER need to get an Xbox.

A good portion of them are and each year a good portion of games recognized at the game awards are on gamepass.
