How racist is the New England area (MA, NH, Maine, Vermount) compared to other parts of the country?

There are pretty sizable communities of African refugees in parts of NH- never interacted with them but they exist.

i aint been to upper NH so i don't know. but parts of MA is definitely racist

Nah come to the seacoast/Portsmouth area and then hit the White Mountains/ North Conway / Lakes Region. Portland Maine has a pretty good food scene now, so does Portsmouth.

Concord is where you're going to actually see Proud Boy and Antivaxxer protests with consistency now.

What's ridiculous is they all want to basically hang Governor Sununu because he's not 100% in the MAGA tank even though he's pretty damn republican. Seacoast and the mountains are pretty laid back

I had to go to Maine a few years back and had no problems. I ended up driving back to NY. No lie driving through New Hampshire from 302 west to 93 north to 91 south through the white mountains was hands down one of more incredible driving experiences I ever had. Like you driving through the mountains. It feels like some surrealist 4 dimensional experience. I would recommend that drive just for the hell of it man. Unforgettable. Cool thing too is driving past the Omni Mount Washington resort in Bretton woods. You know what it is as soon as you drive past it.

I don't get this. Black athletes playing baseball period have to endure this wherever they go, I have lived in a few different cities and you see this everywhere. I was up in NH and Maine for a few months for work. There was nothing overt, some shyt that was subtle. But being black out there, u def gonna catch attention just off the color of your skin
