It's not about making sense, its about options.

You are not in a position to complain about inconvenience if these things happen.

What 4 bridges were you talking about?
I only know of the 1 in staten island, the gw, and the tappen zee farther north

There are three bridges that connect to Staten Island. Goethals, Bayonne, and the outerbridge crossing

Again, its not about inconvenience, but the GW shutting down won't stop NYC.

All they would have to do is allow vehicle transport back via the staten island ferry.

They have PLENTY of options

Cool. I don't know much of staten island.
But I still believe redirecting all that traffic thru staten island and then through the bqe would be impossible. There's times during the day where the traffic on the bqe doesn't move. Now if you add 100,000 trucks a day it would take 3 days to get from 1 boro to the other. Impossible? No. But not really practical either

Im talking about how it would effect the day to day life of the average new Yorker. Of course if there was an emergency they could shut shyt down and only allow certain vehicles in and out of the city. But how are we getting to and from work/school? How are we bringing in food and gas and other goods? We could probably fly some in but I'm not sure if that could help much.

Beginning today, the organization Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth has placed a massive, 45-foot video billboard of World Trade Center 7's destruction in Times Square which is timed to run for the 13th anniversary of 9/11 and on through October 5th.

Against a backdrop of WTC7's repeated freefall, the words “5:20 PM on 9/11, WTC7 came down in a classic controlled demolition. The government says fire brought it down, but anyone who watches the video can see otherwise” will appear. The 15-second spot will air every two minutes for four straight weeks.
