There was a time when you had to be a great musician, not just good, to get a record deal and work with top producers. You had to come to the table already with 10,000 hours of practice, study, and playing under your belt. Tons of mediocre/failed songs before you got it right. Etc etc...

As much of a clown Kanye West the person is; the musician earned his rep. He's a modern legend.
He is trash. Does that nikka even play an instrument?
Can't say for sure. But he's defenitly a student of music. His production and influences are true to the essence IMO. Also he dared to stand out at a time where it was forbidden. His influence and impact are undeniable. I'm no Stan but I give credit where due.

This is a major problem. Music is one of the first things to go in the budget. If we got any teachers here I'm sure they can speak on it.
