Houston accustomed me to a certain cost of living.
Went to visit LA and although its view nice, the weather is beautiful, i love the beaches and canyons...I wouldn't be able to deal with how much I would have to pay to enjoy it.
If I come across a large sum of money, then we'll get a second home out there. Other than that....nah.

Cali have their terrains all in one state with the exception of Louisanana's swamp LOL and miles better weather and women. My dad is from LA hahaha He jumped ship back in 75' lol
Exactly, he picks the places with less bad bytches, less weather, and less to do. Minus florida. But even florida doesn't have the diversity of landscape cali does

nah that was back in 08', which is the reason I left
but I went back as of last year, and everyone is eating again. Dont know what changed, the economy recovered? Obama? but employment have been skyrocketing. You can get a pretty nice house, quiet neighborhood in the 661 for under 300K, thats pretty damn good for cali.You have to remember that if you'r coming on vacation, you're coming with pockets from your city/state. but if you actually live in cali, you'd be making cali income. only thing that high is real estate and apartments, more than likely youll need a roommate if you dont have a career or girl

IDK, I just grew up here and prefer it to other places. There is diverse food and lifestyle that you enjoy. NY/Chicago might be the only other 2 places.

Some other brehs have already touched on what I'm about to post. Speaking on San Diego personally, it has a taste of most worlds all in one.
You have the coast, then the inland valley, then you reach the mountains, and finally beyond that will be the desert.
There are some good lakes to fish at,of course you have the ocean as well. Trees, attractions, women, just the whole environment and vibe is welcoming.

Seems like people who don't even live here talk about Cali more than people who do. Some of these comments are ridiculous. Someone really tried to day Disneyland is the only thing to do here

There are places more peaceful like Boulder, and more wild like Las Vegas, and more busy like New York... but as an overall package, Cali is where you want to be.
If my roommate gradually threw all my jackets away I probably wouldn't even notice.
