New Yawk where I’m from / Bahston where I’m at
The height is beyond anything you’ve experienced so it doesn’t feel real in a way, especially above clouds.

I hate closed spaces tho, makes me hate flying because of that.

Also random people sitting next to you trying to tell you they life story gotta hit em with the :stopitslime:

Flying is easy but I see the appeal on not being on a inescapable death contraption if things get hairy. Still though on smaller non international flights, on airplanes that have the one seat emergency exit I always book that seat, even though they make you promise to help by sitting in it I for sure ain't helping s*** if something goes down :ehh:

I’ve never been in one but they seem terrific as hell:gucci:

I don’t like heights and fast speed like that , am I the only one afraid to fly in one , I’m just not that kinda guy:hubie:
I've probably been in a plane at least 1,000 times by now. I'm 40 and I've been traveling in airplanes since I was 5 years old when my mom and I used to travel to Panama and Curacao.

Especially starting in 2010 I took a job that required me to travel a lot. I got into the habit of sleeping when in one like @BlackPearl The Empress said. These days, the minute I sit in an airplane, I'm asleep before the plane leaves the gate or sometimes even before they even close the door. Something about that low rev engine sound puts me to sleep and makes the trip easier for me. I can't recall the last time I was awake for take off and mind you I took 8 separate flights just in three last 4 weeks . It's rare that I stay up for take off.

The only issue I sometimes have during flight is my ear drums sometimes pop when we're about to land. It's the altitude drop that does it. I remember it also happened to me when driving down a tall mountains.

My only requirement is I prefer to have the aisle seat. Window is cool but home the aisle seat.

P.S. Also my 1st major in college was piloting so I also flew in small Cesnas during flight training

It is the safest way to travel. You feel the speed on the takeoff and landing but that’s it. You’ll get turbulence sometimes but man just had a recent flight with no turbulence and was like 30 minutes ahead of schedule. Great flight.

I can’t sleep on any moving vehicle so I’m awake the entire flight. So boring

I'm someone you can't pay to get on any kind of amusement park ride so I thought I'd be terrified my first time. It's really a pretty chill experience :ehh:. Even the takeoff didn't bother me. You can do it :myman:

the speed boost when the jet push off on the runway tho!!!! :whoo::whew:
This is my favorite part of flying too...as well as having my back pinned to the seat is really something.
Sitting by the window & watching movies is a bonus.
Only thing I don't like is turbulence & popping ears.
