mass transit is great when you are out drinking.
getting shyt faced in Northern BK or Manhattan and taking the train home is a God send.

getting to work is strictly car mode though.
my ride was out of commission once and i had to bus/train it for a week...
shyt was lame except for when a pretty young thing would stand in front of me while i was sitting and staring at her t*ts.

be anti-social and self-conscious, brehs.

You gotta literally be the most annoying person on this board. You always have some stupid shyt to say.

There's nothing anti-social and or self conscious about wanting time to decompress or relax in the comforts of your own car without dealing with the many crazy things you can deal with on a train. You have to wait on the train's schedule not your own. I live in Philly and it takes much longer to travel via public transportation than by car. In NYC it's the most convenient form of transportation but it's still annoying to me.

Often times you're on a subway or bus it's packed and you're bumping into others or you have to stand. It's flat out uncomfortable. If you live in a city you're going to eventually bump into kids who want to cause trouble. Sometimes you don't want to deal with people asking for change or deal with people performing and shyt.

they have apps that tell you when the train and bus are coming so you never have to wait. smartphones and tablets make any acknowledgement of other people around you a choice rather than a necessity. i usually lose myself in my phone and never pay others any mind. and :heh: at bumping into kids who want to cause trouble. :laff: what the fukk is this? an 80s action movie?

like i said, your complaints strike me as those voiced by someone who's just a bit insecure and anti-social.

:whoa: Well watch it now, sometimes you might have a willing shorty who has her back to you n starts slyly leaning back on you n having you thinking "Quit playin games, I know what you're really up to :steviej:"

Not that I'm an expert on these kinda things :ninja1:

I have to ride the bus for the next two weeks until I get my vehicle registration and some other shyt handled.

Besides the time inconvenience, I don't really mind. I spend less time on the bus, and more on the Metrolink (what we call our trains in STL) anyway. And when it gets warmer I might utilize this more and ride my bike. Drive to the train station, catch the train, maybe bike the few blocks between the train station and my gig.

Gas is like $3.49. With my job I can get a weekly bus pass for $20. :yeshrug:

I don't like riding the bus much either, depending on the time of the day. If it's during the afternoon, forget it. It goes slow & is crowded. Plus you always got that one motherf*cker who gets on the bus, and then struggles through their belongings to find their Metrocard.

However, I to make my commute more easier their is a few things I do. For us NYC heads, that bustime.mta.info program works wonders. Waiting at the bus stop and the first bus is crowded, I'll check the app & see how far away the next bus & I'll wait. 8 times outta 10 that bus will be empty & it'll be a stress less trip.

I also always go all the way to the back of the bus. For some reason, people avoid going back there.

But then again I get to ride the bus & subways for free because of my job.
