As we possibly say goodbye to Andy Reid. We have to look at the reason he had success. It was clear Donovan is very significant in that equation. Most the years Andy made it deep in the playoffs. Donovan was the QB. Whenever they went to the playoffs without Donovan they were 1 and done or only make out the 1st round.

They went to 5 NFC Titles and a Superbowl. Made the Playoffs 8 Times. Only 2 Losing Seasons and 1 average season about of 11. You know how hard it is to make it to 1 NFC Title let alone a Superbowl. I understand they didn't win one but they were consistantly at the top of the league with Wins and Playoff appearances. The only The Colts and Pats won more Games than the Eagles during Mcnabb's era. If this is it for Andy. It reminds all of us Eagles Fans what we had. We know we had a shot at the title with Andy, Jim Johnson, Dawkins and Donovan. It was a Legendary Era.

Donovan is 13th All Time in Regular Season Wins and 11th All Time in Playoff wins. He joins an Elite group of QB's that played in 5 conference title games including John Elway and Tom Brady. He still holds the NFL Record for most consecutive completions (24).

Reid's demise came with the death of Jim Johnson, not the McNabb trade. Reid traded McNabb at the right time. I love McNabb, but he's been acting like a bytch lately.

Andy Reid will finish with 140 Wins as the Eagles Head coach including the Playoffs. 107 of the those wins Donovan Mcnabb was his Quarterback. 9 of his 10 Playoffs wins Donovan was his quarterback. Donovan doesn't get the historical credit he deserves. Now that Andy may be done I think people are going to look back at those years differently.

The fact that he didn't win a title and had all this different controversy wither with T.O. or Rush Limbaugh or not know this Tie or Throwing up the Superbowl Debate or even his last 2 yeas with Washington and Minny, people try to focus on the negative to take away from the fact Donovan has put up Historic numbers for a Quarterback in his career.

How can you say the Mcnabb trade didn't have an effect? Kolb was not better than Donovan and proved that now. Vick was a wild card but you need other things to make Vick work in an offense. Donovan is slightly more versatile. Vick is mostly uses his feet to make things happen. Donovan failed in Was and Minny cause they were both rebuilding and Donovan wasn't really the QB to put in a rebuilding situation and his last 2 years was basically that. You needed the teams to be ready to go to the Playoffs and Donovan would play his role.

Minny was in Transition season with Donovan and now they getting on track Washington would of never gotten RGIII if Donovan was traded if you think about it. Donovan did both. So look at the Eagles in the 3 years since Mcnabb left. 1 and Done and Zero Playoffs for two years. When Donovan Played the Eagles were ALWAYS in the Playoffs. Real Talk, the NFC TITLE Game was Donovan 2nd Home he was a lock to get there in his Career with that many appearances.

You can't just ignore the fact that Vick was there, and you can't ignore the fact that McNabb was out of football after starting only 19 games in 2 years for 2 bad football teams. Reid steadfastly stood by McNabb for 10 seasons and defended him no matter what, and when Washington made a generous offer to obtain McNabb, only then did he let him go. It's real bytchmade of McNabb to talk shyt about Reid now after all he did for him.
