Yuppers but theylove overrated Chase Utley and all the boys on Phillies.

Man they love Foles and the dude cant play.

Ryan Howard best player to happen to the Phillies this era

Utley>>>>Howard all day. The only thing Howard does better is hit homeruns, and even then he struggle badly against lefties and good pitchers in general.

Before he got hurt, Utley hit better for average, gets on base more, and is a better fielder. Utley was the one of the best all-around infielders in the game.

Jimmy's MVP season though>>>>>>>

And I still have hope for Dom Dom.

^^^ This is the reason why Andy Reid should've been fired back in 2003.

We were BEGGING them for YEARS to get a Wide Receiver for Donovan.

Look at what the Falcons gave Matt Ryan.

He finally gets T.O. after wasting Don's first five years.

THEN :bustback: he's outta here and takes our Hopes with him.

I don't really give a fawk WHO that nikka threw under the Bus.. Be a man and TALK To his ass.

Fawk Donovan for being a girl about that situation btw. When you look at it.. T.O. was right.. Donovan should've said.. PAY THAT NIKKA !!

Look at the Numbers they were putting up together..

smh..

Fawk all them nikkas mayne.

smh..

Totally agree with the beginning. This about covers my thoughts on the rest.

Owens can't be excused for his actions like that. He alienated a great deal of the team because of what he did during that training camp after the Super Bowl. You can't hold out for a new deal 12 months after you just signed a 7 year deal. That's crazy. Donovan made the right move keeping his mouth shut.

While I don't approve of racists trying to get at Howard, Howard is kinda overrated though. He strikes out too much.

Two different conversations, though.

They criticize because they ARE racist, or rather, their criticism is tinged with racist overtones.

On the other hand, and to your point, a fair argument could be made that he is overPAID and, therefore, "overrated". I think his numbers are consistently respectable, but yeah, the clutchness is lacking.

...not to derail the thread, but yeah, they did Dom wrong.

You throw a guy into a situation where you want him to be a savior, he doesn't deliver, and then suddenly he's "trash"? :what:

That's Philly for you. :snoop:

And firing Andy after 3 NFCCG appearances? LOL, you're delusional dude.

Most of the team sided with TO.

I agree, Utley rarely gets criticized, while Howard and Rollins constantly are. Btw, Utley was never better than Howard.

Smh at you choosing Utley over Howard when Utley success comes from Howard. Utley fielding was always ass and even worst now with his knees. You take that dude and I take a guy giving me 120 rbis a season when fully healthy.

Wait What! You are saying Howard lack clutchness :russ::russ:

Ryan Howard is a career 284 with runners in scoring position and 339 with 2 outs and a man on third.

Batting 6th 7th 8th 9th inning he is a respectable

296 302 571 385 in his career. Fukk you talking about. That's my whole point about this Ryan Howard shyt. His batting averages rises as the game goes on. Mike Missaneli been telling ya racist and haters for years.

The league figured out his weaknesses and his averages have been falling every year since 2009. That's 4 straight seasons. Even if you don't want to count last season when he missed half the year, his splits in 2011 were .253/.346/.835. That's practically Adam Dunn status (circa 2010). And he's 33, so the chances of him getting better are slim. He'll likely become more feast or famine as he gets older.

Howard was always a bigger power threat than Utley, but in his prime Utley was the better all-around player. A true 5-tool player. He was basically Don Mattingly for the new generation.

1999-2009 Philadelphia Eagles = 1986-1996 Buffalo Bills :ohlawd:

Donovan McNabb = Jim Kelly

Andy Reid = Marv Levy

Hall of Fame Coach and Quarterback who came close to winning the big one but could never put the finishing touches on their legacy

those are 2 of my all-time favorite football teams.

that bills team is indeed my all-time favorite.

I should explain, I guess....

It’s not that he lacks clutchness overall….moreso in those situations where you really need for him to come through, and specifically the playoffs.

Like, regular season games, yes….he comes through. He’s been up to bat with the game tied, late in the game, and absolutely come through. I’ve BEEN there (at CBP) when he’s done it.

…but when it COUNTS? Not so much, B….. he didn’t show up in the World Series against the Yankees…nobody will forget that strikeout to end the series against San Fran (my most hated moment, me and wifey were in a bar in Manhattan with a bunch of Yankee fans/Phillies haters…ugh)…..and then, of course, his at-bat against the Cardinals two years ago where he pulled up lame and tore his Achilles….

Don’t get it twisted, I’m a Howard guy. I’m always defending him.

But if you can look at his past few post seasons and say that he’s been “clutch”, then….well, you and me ain’t been watching the same player then, dawg.
