I should explain, I guess....
Its not that he lacks clutchness overall .moreso in those situations where you really need for him to come through, and specifically the playoffs.
Like, regular season games, yes .he comes through. Hes been up to bat with the game tied, late in the game, and absolutely come through. Ive BEEN there (at CBP) when hes done it.
but when it COUNTS? Not so much, B .. he didnt show up in the World Series against the Yankees nobody will forget that strikeout to end the series against San Fran (my most hated moment, me and wifey were in a bar in Manhattan with a bunch of Yankee fans/Phillies haters ugh) ..and then, of course, his at-bat against the Cardinals two years ago where he pulled up lame and tore his Achilles .
Dont get it twisted, Im a Howard guy. Im always defending him.
But if you can look at his past few post seasons and say that hes been clutch, then .well, you and me aint been watching the same player then, dawg.
So, two specific at-bats, and one series makes Howard not clutch?

to Donovan. I don't care that he's running his mouth. The city and fans of Philadelphia are
and I'm behind him 100% with all the shyt he spews about that god awful town and that putrid fanbase. fukk 'em.
and needed to see what Kolb had to offer, which like I said, wasn't shyt.
