Eagles fans who talk bad about McNabb and saying he choked are jackasses. Its because of HIM that sorry ass team was relevant. Andy Reid most of the times was out coached,he was horrible at adjustments, they didn't give McNabb any receivers UNTIL T.O. got there, they relied too heavily on the defense and they just didn't have a championship team until TO got there, bottomline. McNabb deserves some blame, yes, but all of it? No. Most of it? No. Did he choke? No. The Eagles just weren't good enough to win it all. And this is coming from a Cowboys fan since waaaaay back.

I still don't think people understand how hard it was for Donovan's Eagles to make it to 5 NFC Title games. That means they were in the Final 2 of the NFC and Final 4 of the NFL year in and year out. They lost their only Super Bowl to a Dynasty and other future Hall of QB.

5 Years after Mcnabb and look at our Mess at QB. Sad.
Those South Philly and Northeast bastids wanted him gone for the longest. They are getting what they deserve.

What's crazy is Donovan's last season with the Eagles, the 2009 season The Eagles went 11-5 and were 1 game away from a Bye Week and #2 seed in the Playoffs. Since then we lost 2 Playoff games, we did win the Division 2 times but were one and done in the playoffs, the other years we missed the Playoffs 3 times. The Eagles haven't won a Playoff game since 2008 when they beat the Giants in New York. So 5 years later and we haven't won 11 games. 6 years since we last won a playoff game. Sad.
Which is why you need a franchise QB and I didn't understand the need to get rid of him so soon. He was ballin with Desean and them guys. The defense just started getting bad.

My thing was Ok, Donovan had 2 years on his contract. He was scheduled to get Brady/Peyton money. So I say they should of kept Mcnabb for the last 2 years at the worst Franchise him on that last year. Keep Vick and they should of gotten rid of Kolb. Vick's "Amazing" year only got us 10 wins. Mcnabb was coming off 11 win year.
Vick was still one and done in the playoffs. We should of kept Mcnabb but the haters voices were loud and they thought the grass was greener on the other side. This is why I'm cool with getting Mariota if they are finally trying to get a Franchise QB but we are going to have to sell the future to get him. I still say they should try and get Kaepernick if he's on the trading block.
