This is for only people that have not been drinking and driving.

notice no shyt talking, no attitude. Just let them see the required documents and you're good to go.
First check the laws and codes in your city and surrounding/your frequently visited cities so you can reference them in your paperwork.
I've never tryed this myself so IDK if it will be enough for black folks but it's a good thing to have. And of course always record. #StaySafe

an officer can request you to roll your window down to get your license etc during a checkpoint. if they order you to roll your window down and you have been drinking you will be asked to get out the car.

the cops in the video above probably didn't want to be bothered by a jackass trying to make a point so they just let him go

if you haven't been drinking and driving there is no point in doing this because this will just make cops suspicious and waste your time and theirs

I just peeped their website; apparently the law in Florida apparently states that you don't have to physically hand them your license. But I would think that this would make them more suspicious overall

this method would also benefit those who have been drinking and driving...
Yeah But I didn't post it for people breaking the law breh. I just wanted to make that known. DUI is serious shyt. But I don't think lawful citizens should be effected by cops policing criminals

Did You Watch the video? The point is that a cop can "say" he smells alcohol as soon as you roll your window down. And can "say" your speech is slured as soon as you speak. All of the info was in the bag so their is know reason to roll the window down. And there is no law (at least in California) that requires a citizen to roll the window. This is to protect against unlawful detention nothing more. Why do you feel he's being a dikk for that?

That's 100% true. It also raises suspicion.

are DUI checkpoints legal then? Doesn't that constitute unlawful search and seizure? I want to say I heard some crap before about them getting away with it because they "notify the public" that they will be doing these things so if you drive into one it's your way of saying you want to be stopped...

Its a constitutional blind spot for sure because they exist as suspicion-free investigative measures, so how can they be legal? DUI checkpoints have been successfully challenged by a few states because roadblocks are the definition of an unreasonable seizure, but the supreme court is of the opinion that its a necessary means of protection for the public. Thats ridiculous because you can use that as justification for any law enforcement policy if you really wanted to make that argument.

The supreme court has kinda left it to the states to figure it out, and weigh its cost/ benefit with respect to the public good DUI roadblocks serve versus its lack of constitutional support, and let them conclude if they are defendable or not. The survival of checkpoints has a lot to do with what you've already said (the residents are notified before hand), and the fact that they are almost always done at night so they generally dont inconvenience and piss off enough people.

In Massachusetts they legally get away with it by saying that that stretch of road is hazardous and "x amount of accidents" happened there so they are doing a "safety corridor" to "assist with public safety".
