goons in the cut tryna talk you out yo necklace
Envision anything you want to posess....if you can't see it, it won't materialize.

Look up anything you have a question about. You have no idea what time and money research has saved me.

When you wake up, if nothing but for 10 mins watch the news. I didn't know 9/11 happened until noon. I slept in that day, watched Mtv jams from the moment I woke up, and had Blueprint playing from home to work. I started getting calls about it after I got to the gig..never again.

you aint gotta practice them all the time but for the most part you try to

1. if you cant buy it twice dont buy it once
2. nikkas reject ideas. but they cant reject results
3. if you can, try to be the most motivational nikka out the crew
4. dont sit at the table and be greedy, but dont let nikkas feast
5. make them white folks adapt to you, not the other way around
6. listen more than you talk
7. some bytches gotta see you out here before they decide to fukk with you...dont diss em if they say no
8. get cool with people in different lanes( all yo people cant be hood)
9. practice arrogance, you gonna need it sometimes when you tryna get something done
10. practice humbleness, as quick as you get it, you can lose it even quicker

Wiz Khalifa- Who I Am - YouTube

i hope yall nikkas add to the list

You stay making solid threads, let me add on:

- learn to keep blood familiy tight, because your family is like a set, together yall are much more powerfull than yall are divided

- what goes up must always come down: the fall is only a matter of time, make sure you're not underneath when it happens

Here's a few financial gems.
-Pay yourself first. No really, get into the habit of saving up. Never know when a rainy day may appear. Dummies go into debt. Having a stash you can pinch off will save you tons.

-Let compound interest work for you. Read up on making your assets grow. index funds, high interest CD's, tax efficient investments.

-Cut expenses mercilessly. Businesses drop dead weight all the time and so should you. Reevaluate your habits. Which ones sabotage your progress and which ones help?

I'll add get cultured. By that I mean experience shyt. Eat hibachi, go to a vineyard, art galleries, museums. Read books. I've fukked bytches because of difference experiences I had. It's a sad reminder to how little they experienced in life. I remember a chick bragging about eating red lobster with her man, and I'm reminiscing about eating hibachi in the hamptons. bytch was like "what's hibachi?". Needless to say I was fukking her a few weeks later, after we ate some bagels at dunkin donuts.

who was it with the chicks? what was it that made chicks more open?

I think it was that I had experienced so much more than her. She made it seem like going to red lobster was a big deal. I was like ":heh: do you even know what filet mignon is? I bet you think McDonalds is fancy eating". She knew I was part of a world she would never experience in her current life and I was the key to the good life

I would say be committed to whatever your lane is whether you in school, give your all, you sweeping floors give 100%, read books too, educate yourself, you don't have to be in school to have knowledge, and find wisdom, me personally I found wisdom through studying the Bible and prayer, that's not for everyone, but commitment and wisdom will get you far in life!!!!

Take it or throw it away

This thread is dope but I just hate how "nikka" has to be involved for it to be official(like the last two threads if yours i remember). I may be thinking to deep about it though.

As far as emotion, I feel being awear/knowing/understanding how to control your emotions is better than not showing any. Smiling doesn't mean you arent upset and vice versa.

Be able to suppress actual emotions(dont forget though) but show the best emotion for the situation. "Get your weight up with your hate."

Never forget the importance of in-person. I remember a cat telling me this as a youngin. There was alot of people vying for an internship with a paper here in the city this summer. And i got it because i was the ONLY one that took the time to go down there IN PERSON and let them see me.

Don't rely on technology so much...get out there and MEET people. Some one once asked me why i'm always in the burbs or not really kicking it much in the inner city. And its because i been in the city my whole life...i've met alot of the city types...i want to meet and exchange ideas with people who's lives were NOTHING like mine...so we can all learn from each other.

Never argue (especially with women) in public. Once voices are raised, the need to be "right" in front of people trumps the need see it from the other perspectives. Simply say, you disagree and explain your reasoning behind it. Don't get dragged into a frivolous argument

With that said, always try to see things from different angles and understand what the other side is thinking and don't be afraid to keep it real and tell the other person their way is better than yours if think it is

you don't get rich at work, you get rich at home. work is where you earn your money, home is where you choose what you're going to do with that money. it's what you do with that money that makes you rich or poor.

learn to have money work for you. the founder of mcdonalds once said that he wasn't in the business to make and sell hamburgers, he's in there for the real estate. (obviously the more branches the more money he gets)

"the future does not belong to the child who leaves school with the best grades. it belongs to the child with the best winning formula for learning and the freshest technical ideas.

don't depend upon job security. people cling to job security rather than trust in their personal abilities.

learn the difference between an asset & liability. assets put money into your pocket, liabilities take money away from your pocket.

:whew:

To add:

Foresight - learn to see problems before they happen. And since history repeats itself, this isn't too hard of a skill to build. It's impossible to be 100% accurate all the time, but you'll save yourself a lot of trouble by thinking ahead.
