lol i like that
I would say be committed to whatever your lane is whether you in school, give your all, you sweeping floors give 100%, read books too, educate yourself, you don't have to be in school to have knowledge, and find wisdom, me personally I found wisdom through studying the Bible and prayer, that's not for everyone, but commitment and wisdom will get you far in life!!!!
Take it or throw it away
Never forget the importance of in-person. I remember a cat telling me this as a youngin. There was alot of people vying for an internship with a paper here in the city this summer. And i got it because i was the ONLY one that took the time to go down there IN PERSON and let them see me.
Don't rely on technology so much...get out there and MEET people. Some one once asked me why i'm always in the burbs or not really kicking it much in the inner city. And its because i been in the city my whole life...i've met alot of the city types...i want to meet and exchange ideas with people who's lives were NOTHING like mine...so we can all learn from each other.
This thread is dope but I just hate how "nikka" has to be involved for it to be official(like the last two threads if yours i remember). I may be thinking to deep about it though.
As far as emotion, I feel being awear/knowing/understanding how to control your emotions is better than not showing any. Smiling doesn't mean you arent upset and vice versa.
Be able to suppress actual emotions(dont forget though) but show the best emotion for the situation. "Get your weight up with your hate."

It's all good, I thinks it just me. Cause I know when I was in my teens and early 20s "nikka" was a staple in dam near ever sentence I said.lol yea my fault man

sometimes i get into it wit cats on here but when i have to explain myself they understand where m comin from.
the cats i dont respect on here is the ones that have no thoughts in their words whether we agreeing or disagreeing.

if you a go getter i fukks wit you. i know every nikka aint gone be like me

But now I got a son to think about, so giving him game off the premise of it being real nikka shyt, kinda makes me pause.
But aside from that the thread is money.
1. As much as possible, try to be in the presence of those who are more intelligent than you. Soak in as much as you can.
2. Never make an important decision during a moment of high emotion. I can't tell you how many disasters I've averted at work by waiting an hour or two before I actually act. Once you're clear-minded and cooled down, you can see all the angles of a situation so much more clearly.
3. When it comes to other people, avoid placing too much expectations over their heads - you're just setting yourself up for disappointment.
4. (Outside of a job interview) Don't try to impress people, the results will be opposite of your intended effect.
5. Study the past and visualize the future, but always live in the moment.
