I'll add some ish
Do YOU before doing anyone else. You're the only one that's worth it
Drive what YOU wanna drive
Dress how YOU wanna dress
Live and Work where YOU want to live and work
All the rest of life's offerings will follow as long as you're doing you.
Also to add on to OGs original (Listen more than you talk)
Watch more than you listen....people will SHOW you who they are. Believe that before you believe them.
I've been on transportation, logistics, and distribution (supply chain management more or less) for 10 years in 3 different fortune 500 companies; 3 of those roles have been in management,..what you wanna know?
How is this not stickied yet? I'm tired of searching for this thread to read it.![]()
When you get advice think about why the person giving it to you is giving you that advice, and whether that advice has actually worked for them. A lot of people are miserable and want to drag you down with them, and a lot of people just like to hear themselves speak.
If you are young, do IT on the side. If you have other shyt going on find something that will let you work flexibly. You do that for a couple of years and get some certs you will have a lot of options, esp w/a degree.
Take care of your body
Money in the bank is worth way more than stunting. You cant take it all with you but you cant eat clothes
im thinkin i should change the title of the thread
Messages to a young Go-Getter...what you think?
or just keep the same thread title?
whats the most common Certification people get first?
im interested im not in IT but different sources of income is always good
