So ATL residents is he exaggerating or is it really that grimy out there?
I can't speak as a native I just came from atl went downtown atl ate the f out of some varsity hotdogs

well I was in buckhead and just drove down to actual downtown atl ....no one f'd with us but keep your head on swivel that is for every city even the smalls ones.

I might move down there for good because I still like being around more black people.... and the hoes on a monday night local thots where dressing like they came straight off the pole either from blue flame or magic city. :takedat:

Why come all the way to Atlanta to stay in the suburbs? Seems counterproductive. I'd stay at the Clermont Hotel. In the heart of shyt.
Atlanta isnt as centralized as other big cities. There’s stuff all over. So unless what you’re doing is specifically downtown, you don’t have to stay there. Plus you could always take the MARTA and be there in 15 minutes.

With that said Midtown, Buckhead, Downtown, and Dunwoody are close enough to anything you’d want to do. Even Brookhaven and Vinings/Smyrna wouldn’t be terrible if you’re into that hipster lifestyle.

Damn Atlanta was a paradise back in the early to mid 2000s. I used to love visiting family down there. Fukk happened?
It's always been rough. It used to be just the projects but with nikkas being spread out you can find trouble all over the city

Not true at all breh, you were just in the right areas. As a someone from here I can in fact say that while the crime may be high right now, It’s more safe areas in the city than it used to be. We had alot of very notorious dangerous projects in the city that got torn down. Places where you could lose your life walking past the street are now illuminated with hipster lounges or high rise luxury apartment lights. But it then and still it’s Always been a dangerous city filled with a lot of gangs robberies and drug dealing and trafficking .

Up north brehs with violent reputations moved down there for easy redbone p*ssy and cheap rent. Ruined the Black Mecca.

I’ll apologize on behalf of up north brehs. Y’all did have mad hoes down there, cheap living, bomb ass food, cool ass people and the vibe of the city was dope. Not surprised it attracted the negative muthafukkas too.
