Australia had a mass shooting in 1996 which forced through changes in gun control. They've had one in the 20+ years since. America have had over 100 in the same timeframe.

A large part of the problem is that Americans have been so brainwashed by their country that it just isn't possible to adopt a common sense approach here. They truly believe that amending something that was ratified in fukking 1791 is an affront to their freedoms and rights as an American citizen. When the second amendment was ratified, they weren't talking about fukking assault rifles, automatic machine guns and large scale military grade weapons. They were dealing with muskets and rifles that took 2-3 minutes to reload.

I've said it many times before, your country would be a much better place if a large percentage of the population didn't live their lives by a constitution drafted centuries ago and a book of fairytales written millennia ago.

No offense but Uvalde is a racist town in Texas and a majority of the Mexicans down here are extremely racist. One of the parents for the kids was a Dylan Roof supporter. Also the guy had a brand new iPhone and purchased the guns on his own which means he had money. Down south poverty =/= up big city poverty.
