Honestly having to look at the gun memorial for research more often than I would like to admit it has to start at home. We can start on what gets covered in the media vs the random so called that wasn't a big deal shootings cause no Leo was involved.

I feel if each one starts at home we could make a difference.

That's not how that works at all.

There's plenty of serious crime that doesn't make even your local news. And those crimes still occur daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.

If media didn't exist to report what was going on shyt would still happen.

But there is a sensationalism attacbed to these crimes that doesnt exist without media attention...and often the celebrity snd notoriety that accomponies these crimes is what the perpetrator is looking for...

We should make mass shooting an act of terrorism and charge anyone with knowledge of the crime with felony murder...

That way we can try them in a military court and get around due process...

First of all there's absolutely no more sensationalism of mass shootings than there are any of crime thats on the front page of any newspaper or news site.

With that logic school graduations, volunteer work, city cleanup, opening a business, etc would be more prevalent because they run 5x more stories on that shyt or soft stories than anything else.

Secondly although we are not a Christian nation, all of our elected officials heavily favor the Christian bible which states the son shall not suffer for the sins of their father, nor shall the father for their son.

Whether they charge them with treason or murder or whatever isn't going to deter it either. There's not been one mass shooter that has cared about the charge whether they are in jail, killed on scene or killed themselves.

A mass shooting is considered 4 or more victims at the same location. We all know those happen often not just schools and or concerts.
