low key? that shyt was corny back then to me, I swear I was the only saying this shyt was weak as fukk. 50 lyrically at his lowest point rap wise with the nursery rhymes and no flow at all over a generic sounding arabian beat.

i knew 50 was done quality-wise once "beg for mercy" dropped. so i knew the massacre was gonna be a weed-plate in everybody's crib. but those massacre singles were so unapologetically corny & blatantly POP, it was hillarious.

Candy Shop was the track that really made me understand how important radio saturation was to gaining steam for a song. I had no choice but to hum the track since it was played on both Hot97 and Power 105 non-stop. Didn't even have a cd player to give me a break from it. Before you know it, the shyt is a hit smh

yeah 50 had some singles during that time that were unbearable..that, disco inferno, and amusement park...and he was really feelin himself...talking about how he didnt need to be super lyrical and toned it down for the southern audience and how amusement park was the most clever song ever and he didn't have to be dirty...this is where i got tired of 50 and his ja rule biting
