If you want to go the route that Africans couldn't go back to their homelands, well neither could the Mexicans. Texas and SoCal WERE THEIR HOMELANDS. Just because they could go back to "Mexico" doesn't mean its their home.

It seems your guys argument is that Africans can't go back home but Mexicans can. Are you trying to say that slaves had no way of going home? I'd agree with that. Are you trying to say the descendants of slaves can't go back home? I'd have to disagree with that. If thats the argument you want to use though, the displaced Mexicans also couldn't go "home".
Like I said, the black struggle was imo worse than the Mexicans, but you guys seem to just disregard the bullshyt the Mexicans have gone through. Its not the same exact racism, but theres still a LOT of it directed towards them.

only thing we can say with certainty is that our ancestors left from the west coast of Africa, that's not really saying much, considering the fact that leaving from the coast of west Africa is the shortest distance between Africa and the Americas.

No one is down playing anything Mexicans went through in this thread. Why is it that when black people speak on our history you think we our putting Mexicans down. Our history in this country are not the same so stop trying to equate the two.
I'm not to sure exactly what you're trying to say about slaves breh. Do you believe that I can trace my family tree back to the 1500s like like you can? I dont even know my true family name. There is no way for me to truly no where I came from other then the continent. There is absolutely nothing for you to disagree about on the subject

Thanks for an actual explanation of why these dudes are mad. I can't really argue with that. I just looked up a map of Africa at the start of the slave trade and it looks like the entire continent was only 10 or so large regions. I was assuming the current borders were similar to back then. Makes more sense why they wouldn't know where they came from exactly

In regards to going back to Africa, yes. Otherwise, I stand by my comments. Racism is still racism no matter how you cut it. People like Kritic think I'm privileged but disregard the racism I get for being a Jew. Its not the same racism as being black, or being Mexican, or being Muslim, etc. but the racism is still there. Evil is evil no matter what your race or religion is.
