How/when did waves/360s become “corny”?

It seems like locs/braids is the wave now. And brehs not really carin bout cuts fr anymore.


Is it a mix of the pandemic and barbers raising prices making crisp 360s take more work/money to upkeep?


Cause highkey them shyts is like a staple hairstyle in the AA community I feel like we losing some of our sauce by labeling them as old/corny


Y’all think it’s just a trend or has our community completely turned its back on these

waves are timeless and not corny. I do think dudes can end up being wave-nerds tho. Like anything, there's dudes that become "nerds" for stuff. Like these sneaker-nerds or even hiphop "nerds".
