I’ve been thinkin bout this :patrice:

It seems like locs/braids is the wave now. And brehs not really carin bout cuts fr anymore.

Is it a mix of the pandemic and barbers raising prices making crisp 360s take more work/money to upkeep? :patrice:

Cause highkey them shyts is like a staple hairstyle in the AA community I feel like we losing some of our sauce by labeling them as old/corny

Y’all think it’s just a trend or has our community completely turned its back on these :jbhmm:

Can’t worry bout what others think. You can make anything look good.

I’m a young breh too and I’m still waving..

dudes wearing durags as fitteds are corny. That’s why “Wave Check” became a thing. 360/720 Waves is a STAPLE

They not entirely corny. Just if you still do the entire head like that instead of fading it a bit.
For example, this looks straight out of 2004 imo

.
But this looks more modern and respectible.

I guess basically what i mean is, waves are a texture, not a hairstyle. You still gotta do something with the lineup and shape up. Just doing 360wave version of theo huxable line isn't it.

Thank you. I came in to post this. Waves with a nice clean fade is still one of the top looks.
