What is/will the NBA doing/do differently than the NFL to become more appealing to a larger audience?

- The NBA playoff system makes it virtually impossible for any team below the 2nd seed to be NBA champs (let alone play in the Conference Finals or even NBA finals)

- Superstars only want to go to teams already stacked to win.

- Games are hard to access and watch for casual fans

- Not a lot of year-to-year parity with teams.

How is the NBA gonna change and do NFL numbers in the future. Help a NFL breh get on the trend NBA brehs :manny:

it won't on its own. but if interest in football (continues to) wanes as fewer kids play and people have more concern about or get turned off by injuries/the adverse health effects of football, that would be the only way i see it surpassing football. 16 game seasons and white QB's (faces of the team/league) alone can and will keep #'s higher.

Highlights are fukking up the nba in my opinion. I know some fans who just watch highlights of knicks games rather then actually watching the game. Idk, it just looks like basketball doesnt have the most intense fans, ive seen more passion for baseball:scust:

If they bringing home trophies and banners why does the race of the QB matter?

The QB is the 'face of the team', so to speak. Pretty much everyone else outside of a few special positions are nameless, faceless interchangeable cogs. Don't think it's not a factor.
