An excellent album in the eyes of real music lovers. All reviews of this have been 10/10 pretty much.

I'm a real music lover and I don't like the album

There is no such thing as an album review that holds credence over the individual listeners

That too many average hiphop fans are stupid.

What the hell does this mean?
I definitely think overall, the album will be remembered in an important way. Hip Hop is in a current state of bangers and hot trendy singles. Kendrick could've easily done a GKMC II. Could you imagine if he had an album of shyt that sounded like the song from the Beats commercial (It's Alive/"Pyrex")? It would've been an easy lay up, and he knows it. But he wanted to stay true to his vision and gave us this... something different. And I love it.

I'm glad he stuck to his guns. Artists need to be taking more riskier choices with their music.

Hiphop has always been about bangers and hot trendy singles

shyt's eccentric as hell. Quality though.

In time people may only remember the disappointment and excessive hype surrounding this record, and they'll have to be reminded of how good it was.

I want to draw a comparison to Nas's It Was Written, basically it will be an underrated aspect of a great artist's catalog.

What do you think brehs?
The only people that will remember disappointment are the people that think the coli represents the real world. Half the people "disappointed" don't even like Kendrick in the first place.

It will be remembered as a great record

once in a blue moon album...a sunday album.
like i said before, his first album he made a John Singleton movie, TPAB he attempted a Spike Lee joint.

a good effort that should be applauded..he took a risk.
musically it paid off but Kendrick got overshadowed by the music..the worst bits of the album are all down to him.

oh and the 2 Pac thing was the goofiest shyt of the year..if it wasn't Kendrick any other rapper would get (rightfully) slaughtered for it.

Let's be real I like the album, it's very good but it doesn't deserve the perfect scores it's been getting. :scust:

The quality, the sound, the flows, the topics, the story.... everything was well put together. This shyt is like wine.:whew:
