Pretty much every facet of our lives has bren impacted by slavery and its remnants so we'll need to make sure we're compensated for each facet. Thats education, housing, health and wellness, public safety, business, etc. We'll acceot our paybacks in increments to ensure our country's financial health, but there needs to be definitive deadlines for each payback.

Well basically there is no amount of money or education alone that will cede power from white people in this country.
As much as LeBron james makes, he will always have Dan Gilbert writing the checks.

If my slavery angle was too far, fine. Here is my alternative.

The only way to make us "square" after slavery is for us to remove every white person from every position of power and every ownership position (be it land ownership/company ownership/etc), remove them all political seats of power (congressmen to judges to police officers etc) and replace all of that with black people.

When congress is 100% black, every officer is black, very judge is black, every landowner is black, the president is black, and every CEO is black, maybe then can things be "even".

You guys are all talking about what can be given to Black people to make amends.
What you should be talking about is what must be taken away from white people to make it even.

I'd also take this list and add a reimbursement of the 2017 cash value of 40 acres as well as a share of whatever profits your ancestors generated for that particular plantation (slave owners usually kept excellent records).

Lastly, a congressional committee (in conjunction with the Securities and Exchange Commission) on slavery reparations just to make sure all the aforementioned initiatives are being followed. Any company not adhering to the slavery tax, (even if they move operations to another country) are subject to having their assets frozen and potential removal from the NYSE.

No amount of funding is going to catch a HBCU up to a place like Harvard or MIT where they have entire cultures of study ingrained in them. Yeah, Howard might catch Stanford or something like that but nah ALL colleges. I want our people having EVERY door open to them.

Having been to MIT, breh, some of the research they are doing there is UNfukkWITHABLE. We, as black people, need IN.
