You already got a connect so thats perfect. My cousins a mechanic/body work guy so that takes care of any issues. And its funny but the cars I sold the most are Ford Taurus's. Really basic cars but are easy to fix because of the american parts. I stay away from any foreign shyt. Most of the time I buy one, clean it inside and out, throw so shiny hub caps on it and shine it down, put it on the street and have it sold in a few days. $700-$800 investment and make at least $2000.

As for the auctions it depends on the city. Luckily im in ATL which has a major dealers auction that opens to the public a couple times a month. I dont go to many small auctions because the bidders are usually normal people who drive the prices up because they dont know what the hell they are doin...

Damn, good look. I might look into this.

Buy a multi-family house in the Rust belt(Cincinatti; Detroit, Pittsburgh, or Cleveland) for $30k or less.
As long as the house is within 6 miles or less from the downtown area, you should :eat: in 5-7 years.

Yea, this is why you can buy Ray-bans from the Muslim homies at the flea market for $100 that sell at Sunglass Hut for $150-200. Because they buy direct from the manufacturer and then place a much smaller markup on the product than the large retailers do. Same thing happens on Ebay where you'll find the same Ray-bans for sometimes $75-90. People really get raped shopping at retail brick n mortars.

If you're looking for the manufacturer of a product, look on its tag or on the back of the product usually. For example, Luxotica is the manufacturer for Ray-bans. I believe they're based in Italy. But I believe Ray-ban also manufacturers some products out of China as well now.

But if you can find a wholesale shop in your city, they tend to have rock-bottom prices on stuff. I'm talking NY Sunglasses, the same kind you get at a sunglasses kiosk in the mall for $15-20 each, at $24-30 for a box of dozen sunglasses. Mark up each pair to $10-12 and make a nice flip on each pair.

But some wholesale spots want to see you have a Resale License before they sell to you, so get that first. Technically, pedestrians shouldn't be able to buy at wholesale shops.

Peace
:patrice: I think those Ray-Bans are fake breh

Breh...I will tell you exactly what I would do w/ $15 capital.

I would go to the local university that offers tech majors.

Print out pamphlets saying you are trying to provide an opportunity for fresh new african american & hispanic tech experts(app designers) to program the "next great app."

Have a 5k competition with one idea( I have a few great app ideas, seriously).

Have them sign a disclosure agreement...

At the end of the competition, after they present their projects to you, give 5k to the winner & work with them to improve it & you just might be sitting on a $1mill...or $1bill (Snapchat, Instagram, candy crush, etc) idea.

If they don't produce any good projects, now you have $10k to work to go to another venture & create a nother thread asking about how to flip10k.

Do it breh...and remember me. :salute:

Are you in NY?

Breh, instead of going through all the contests and shyt, why not just hire a professional app developer for that 5000??

Coming up with a profitable app is not that easy. Alot of ppl such as yourself they have some great idea and it really isn't as great as you'd think...You also need to know where you're going to find your market and how to advertise it. That's much more important than the app itself.

Heed my warning. Please don't fall into the app trap. That shyt is a bubble. Really do your due diligence and research to know how and where your app will be profitable. Programmers make a killing from many ppl who think they have that next great million dollar app.

I don't think apps are a bubble, its just an increasingly growing market of the computing space. Mobile devices (tablets and smart phones) have replaced laptops and desktops in the home.

There is a lot of competition though so you'd definitely need to make sure you know what you're doing.

Buy certain cars on Craigslist and sell them on ebAY. Go to Ebay focus on special interest cars/ antiques find the ones that have to most bidders and activity. Use a CL search engine like dailylister or search tempest and find the best deals usually the ones that are projects. Flip them on Ebay without doing much work to them. Alot of people do not know how to sell on Ebay so they just put them up for sale free on CL.

You're absolutely right. Im just trying to play devil's advocate because I see and hear it all the time. "I have this great app idea, Im going to get programmer to build it for me for equity [you will never find a programmer who will agree to this] and once we make it we'll make a killing"...That couldn't be the furthest thing from the truth.

First off ideas are damn near worthless. It's why you see great products that don't make money and nikkas can sell rocks and make millions.

You need to have a market and know how to reach that market. Few ppl have a plan on what they'll do after the app is made. They think they'll just stick it on the appstore and wala. That's not how it works.

I wouldn't make an app unless I knew I could get an article written on it on one of the popular tech blogs TechCrunch, Mashables, BuzzFeed, etc.

eBay/Craigslist arbitrage is a tried and true method on quick flip.

Here's a guy who turned 300 into 2000 in a month. Since you already have the blueprint you should be able to do it in a much faster time or for more money
http://www.thefastlaneforum.com/com...-2k-dollars-in-a-month-with-craigslist.49605/

There was another thread on there of a guy who had a friend in need of money, 5k usd. Instead of giving the money outright he gave him 30k and told him to find shyt and reflip from craigslist. Well he didn't give the money to him, he made him do the work by contacting sellers and lowballing them. Then when they found something good he'd go with him and pay for it. Then he'sd have the guy find a buyer and they'd go together and buy it. By the end of the month they took that 30k and turned it into 40k. So they made 10k in a month. He gave his friend the 5k that he needed and kept the other 5k.
