whatever you choose breh be prepared to work.I need to worry, im 35 and work a minimum wage job.

I just spoke to my girl, shes a doc, so I was asking her the same questions I asked you, and you asked, in this thread. She said surgical techs get paid well, but they have to study hard and learn to anticipate what tools are needed during the particular procedure thats happening. I didn't know they are the ones to hand the scalpel when the surgeon says so. Also she knows surgical techs who have had tools thrown at them in the operating room because of the ego of the surgeon.
Ultimately she said to speak with everyone who you can who is doing the role you are considering in the future.
If i become a surgical tech can i move up and become a surgeon eventually? How would that work?
Im pretty sure you need to go to medical school to be a surgeon.

Homie thought you can get promoted to surgeon after being a tech for a couple of years.

No you would have to go to medical school. Then residency then maybe fellowship. So you are looking at least 13 years if you don't have a college degree.
You should go into nursing why?
A lot of brehs would do better off getting into nursing rather than comp sci. Nursing you can move to wherever you want. There are hospitals everywhere. You can be a travel nurse but you have to study hard.
I say this a physician.
What jobs have you had ? What do you do right now?
