Man, I remember when nikkaz had him as the top QB in the league back in 2010....I was called a goon cuz I disagreed.

He's not average, though. He's above average....but like you said, you can't be considered great or even good without consistency.

Only reason you don't think he's average is because he's Mick Vick and he's such a playmaker. If you talking about his passing output and passing output only over the course of his career he's average and when you consider the ATL aka the majority of his career that might be pushing it. Think about the QB's you consider average in terms of throwing. Now give them 4.3 speed and :ohhh: agility and athleticism on top of that average passing ability. :usure: Vick would be better than them?

Arm strength- Amazing
Accuracy- Average
Decision-making- Poor

The nikka has never been consistent passer. at nikkas putting him top 5 or top 10. nikkas are so caught up in that video game start to last season that they are totally ignoring what's happened since (28 td 20 in 60 or so % completion) or before. He's shown flashes but consistency is what makes a guy good/great. He's average until he proves otherwise.

This isn't true, his decision making is good but because he get's no protection from officials because he is Black scrambler QB he gets hit hard and gets gunshy.

I think RG3 has a much higher ceiling than Vick to be honest. Vick's already plateaued as a passer and RG3 comes into the L a much more polished passer than Vick as a rookie.

Turnovers have always been will always be a problem with him. The hits he takes will always lead to a high fumble total (Big Ben sorta has this same problem). Even in Atlanta his interceptions were higher then they should've been given how much they ran the ball.

Throw out the time with the Falcons. Lets talk about him as an Eagle. He has been an above average passer IMO.

Vick was in the pocket quite a bit in 2010 and was slanging balls into tight windows. His passing improved dramatically. He wasn't scrambling nearly as much as he used to.

You yourself said consistency was key yet you are basing your analysis of Vick of one year? :what: He has not played at that level consistently. The only thing consistent about him has been inconsistently. We can't just throw ATL out, that still makes up the majority of his career. We can't just focus in on the first half of one season and ignore the other 90% of his career.

We need to stop with the excuses. He is a risk taker and makes too many poor choices. This has been the reality with him for the great majority of his career. at Vick being gunshy. That's why he makes bad decisions because he's gunshy? :wtf: He has his shortcomings and being gunshy is certainly not one of them. He makes bad decisions, period. The nikka has like 20 picks in his last 18 games, that ain't gun shy that is just poor choices.

Vick has been on the Eagles for 3 years and started for 2. Why even include the ATL years? The guy was out of football for a couple seasons.

He's inconsistent, but he's an above average passer...

I'm sorry but a 1:1 TD/INT ratio and the low 60s/high 50s in completion % in this day and age is average and that's what he's been the last 18 games when in terms of passing. Of course his ability to run must be taken into account when rating him as an overall player but in terms of just passing he hasn't really done anything consistently over time to distinguish himself as an above average passer. The staple of an average QB is inconsistency.

Are you trying to tell me Alex Smith is a better passer than Vick? :whoo: I don't get all the stats you're tossing out as if they tell the whole story. Vick can make every throw. He's an above average passer...had an average year last season while being banged up running for his life.
