The amount of homework they give kids these days is insane
After an hour, if they're done with it or not, I stop them

The work is made boring on purpose so cacs can weed out the kids theyve targeted for destruction.

Black kid gets bored with homework.
No one at home to reinforce the value of education and to explain to him that this shyt is serious and part of his work for the home
Kid stops doing home work
Falls behind
Out of boredom and complete lack of understanding for the material the boy does something disruptive in class
Cac teacher sees him as a problem
Informs school psychologist that he has a behavior disorder
Cacs try to convince parents to put the kid on drugs
Kid becomes a drug addict
Continues falling behind
Cacs suggest special ed
Parents allow it or dont allow it
Kid falls in with bad crowd of like minded ignorants
Kid gets in trouble with the law
Kid goes to jail to begin cycle of incarceration
Has children with women he hates
Kid gets killed by bad crowd or kid dies in prison or kid grows into one of societies dregs
If hes lucky he overcomes all this and makes something of himself. Unlikely

Breh i've been on straight auto pilot since like 7th grade. I aint learned nothing new. You learn basic math in middle school. Either you get it or you don't. Every other subject in school is basically a test of english literacy. If you know how to read and you know how to write? You know how to ace all that shyt. And it gets boring because the way that they teach it to you is retarded. Even reading the text book from start to finish by myself woulda been a waste of time because theirs a whole bunch of just bullshyt filler. Then they also want you to sit here and wait for the teacher to teach the whole class page by page. I woulda been better off getting a ged in 7th grade and focusing on this money.

How can you expect the world for your kids but make them feel like its all good to not perform to elite standards in school? I dont know what you consider punishment but corrective action will be taken.

Lego mechanical engineering class so we can play with legos, and learn

Truth be told, I know more people doing good without a formal education than with 1. Of course I want my kids to do and be the best in school. I strive for that. But if they don't it's not the end of the world. Of course I want them to have that option but it isn't necessary. Like @FilliBuster said, either u get it or u don't. I didn't learn anything in school after 7 or 8th grade. I'm good. I could've finished hs and went to college and could've been better than I am now. It is taking longer than I would've wanted but I'm on the right road. If I knew better, I would've dropped out at 16 and got my GED and went to college. Could've graduated at 20. I feel ya ambition. Ain't nothin wrong with it. I will never feel education isn't important. Being stupid isn't cool. I just don't hold what they teach in school with high regards.

Its not about the grades so much as its about learning and about establishing standards for work ethic but ok if you're ok with them being average its not the end of the world. I just personally want more for mine and i dont see the problem with that.

Your kids are not robots, and getting one bad test when they excel in others will make them hate you. Trust me, You don't want to be that father that is when your kids excels growing up and doesn't want you to be a part of it. Your kids have academic preferences and desires. Its only human.
