Eh. It could be worse. You could be stereotyped as nothing more than an animalistic, unintelligent brute.



Simpsons were always cool on that side of things, though. The most prominent black characters are a doctor, a judge, the sane one of Homer's freinds, and a homosexual assistant to Mr. Burns, although they did amend that with the quickness.



Also, don't forget to tag @∆y = f(∆x) since it concerns his people.

apu was somewhat stereotypical but he was also intelligent to in many episodes so he had a real personality. this social media era is the worst shyt that ever happened. i miss the days of just having forums around in the early 2000s

Thing is, Apu was never really a c00n like that. Dude wasn't some wack character.

He WAS an indian cornerstone owner. And considering the time the Simpsons came out, having such a diverse cast should be celebrated

But then again I could see how Indians are upset with the overall interpretation

My daughter is half indian, but she isn't even aware of the show. The humor and offense prolly goes over my ex-wife's head so... no biggie to them.
but if they were offended by it any non Indian opinions would be irrelevant to the conversation.
