I don't know your age, but you should consider associating yourself with different crowds first before giving up on an entire segment of people. The people you had these experiences with back then were acting like the typical idiots that many teenagers are expected to act like. People like making excuses for these type of people and acting like because it happened in the past that it's cool but there's nothing wrong with letting it affect your perception. It should affect your perception.
The key is to realize that there are a lot of people in this world and not everyone acts the same. You're not going to find the same type of black women who gave you a difficult time everywhere in life.
