with the gs2 hate. it isnt that big at all....phone been out for 2 years and is still a solid device.
My S4 arrived a couple of hours ago..it's a new era indeed. Feel sorry for everyone who have to wait until the 15th like saps
was at the sprint store today thinking i was gonna buy the S4. i held the S4 and the One and yeah the One feels weightier and solid and the S4 feels more plastic like but i wouldn't care about that. outside of the extra features the S4 has they've virtually the same to me.
i walked out with neither. just decided to keep my iPhone 5. considering i'm not eligible for an upgrade till 2014 i didn't see enough to make me spend $600 on the S4.
seriously fukk Sprint for dropping the annual upgrades. i been with these a$$holes for 12 years and if they don't hurry up and get LTE in my area (my parents live 10 minutes away and have it there) i'm gonna bail on them.

if somebody handed you those two phones with no spec sheet or reference sheet to tell you about extra sensors and software features and inside of two weeks you had to pick one i'm willing to bet most of the extra features on the Galaxy S probably wouldn't even get noticed.The gs4 and htc one are not the same phone

flagship phones have reached the level of parity. it really doesn't matter which one you buy anymore because none of the extra features are game changers anymore. people have gotten to the point where they're splitting hairs trying to distinguish which is better because overall its parity.
thats a dumb ass analogy. First off htc one has blinkfeed and a different screen technology. The cameras are different. The default apps are different,. All these phones are different. You cant even use the phones the same way.
that's not an analogy. that's literally somebody giving you these two phones with no way for you to reference any specs or features other than actual use. sure there are differences but as for apps and all that you can flash a different ROM and get HTC Sense on a Galaxy phone then you have blinkfeed and the same default apps. you'd be able to get the same level of productivity from either phone.
i liken it to giving someone who has only seen 480i a 720p plasma TV. the fact that 1080p and 4K TVs exist is irrelevant to them because 720p is way better to them than what they had. you don't know what you're missing if you never had it in the first place. these phones are so close that the minor differences won't be missed or even noticed to most.

I went to the store and looked at both phones. I nearly copped the HTC one due to its sheer beauty. Its definitely an iphone rip off, but done very well. I was shocked how surprisingly sleek the S4 is though. Its very nice. All in all, it makes me very anxious on that new sleek Lumia phone that NOK will soon unveil.

were all built like ROCKS. When I went to the iPhone 4 and 4s both were solid sturdy phones.
The Galaxy S4 just feels cheap. Almost like instore fake dummy phone. The screen is bright. With colorful icons. But that's not enough for me.
Just not for everyone I guess.
Compare a 500hp AMG Benz and a Turbo Charged Aftermarket 500hp Dodge Charger. Some people, like I, would appreciate the extra mile that Mercedes/AMG went with the Benz and others who want ok looks and a big engine would go with the Charger. Nothing is wrong with either of those.
