I agree wholeheartedly, I don't think people understand what we mean when we don't like how Samsung feels in the hands. I don't mind that they use plastic , most phones are plastic. Samsung just uses the worst feeling polycarbonate plastics in the world.

The main issue becomes is when other people try to knock my choice of phones, in pretending that the only thing the HTC One has over the GS4 is the aluminum body. Now of course every opinion is subjective but I can only tell you what I do like about my phone over the GS4.

1. 100% smooth no lag what's so ever.
2. Sense 5 is actually very nice.
3. Like the camera features.
4. Remote app is awesome.
5. The phone is simple and elegant.
6. The sound especially the front stereo speakers are extremely nice.

Me personally I never been a real big fan of Samsung phones from way back in the flip phone days. No I'm not going to say that they don't make good phones because obviously they do. its just not for me. I don't like TouchWiz, I don't like the lagginess that still a issue and I don't like how they make their phones. If you are happy with your phone be happy! I'm happy what my htc phone but the fanboys are the ones that are trying to divide the android camp and at this point it seems to be mostly the Samsung fanboys who have an issue that we don't prefer their phone.

Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2

Basically...the One feels more like a "grown person" phone to me if that makes any sense...it's really smooth and it has nice features that are fully optimized cause it seems like HTC really payed attention to detail...not just a bunch of features thrown on a phone just to say its there...and as far as the people saying it doesn't have expandable memory...I have a USB adapter that lets me connect a flash drive and it works perfectly on this phone without an app involved...the capability is built into the phone...so u can get a 64 gb sd or flash drive and hook it up that way and it works flawlessly...

It doesnt matter to me. Its like 10 or 15 posts of the last 2 pages of nyggas defending their HTC ONE purchase and apparently angry at anyone who didnt get it. Odd and off brand. I come back on and there these strange defensive replies in my notifications. Lol

And please..we was up on this shyt from the very beginning..before you cats ever was introduced nationally to it. Im rolling at the defensive nature of it all..no need to being posting angry replies at 3:30 am:laugh: Relax..if you want to play with your money..do what you do.

Like I said..my first Android phone was the G1...just like anyone else who had the first android phone..cause the G1 was the first...I was up on android before the G1 dropped as well...so u not telling me nothin on that end of the spectrum either....and u got shyt twisted...the way these nikkas who fukk wit Samsung actin is on some division shyt...like they both ain't android phones...the fact that u sittin here sayin people "playin" wit they money by coppin an HTC One is some condescending shyt it itself...it's seems that u can't grasp the fact that someone would pick the One over the GS4...writing their reason off as people still talkin bout that "feel" shyt...

My brother was up on sidekicks and all of that nonsense before the Android shyt got poppin.. And yes, I had the HTC Nexus One...the "great build quality" and the one that the Evo and everyone else had to follow to play catch up on the following summer. The battery life is suspect...no swappable batteries...no sd cards. Believe it or not, those are issues and they aren't gonna be glossed over because some cat gets hard over the way his phone appears to other people.

Ok...I was up on sidekicks..blackberrys...there's literally no os I haven't fukked with extensively....and no removable battery or expandable sd "slot" isn't a problem at all for iPhone users...so why the fukk does every other company get criticized for it like its the end of the world?...and with the HTC One u get 25gb of Dropbox storage for free...on top of that it supports external flash drives and sd cards if u have the adapter for it which u can find for around 4 bucks...no app no nothin...just plug n play...most reviewers don't mention that part either...

I had a Blackberry in 2003 with Nextel. The 7510 and the 7520. The things didn't even have an automatic light. You had to press a button to turn it on. No camera. No BBM. Just PIN message. Barely a media player. Point is I had one Eons before anyone else even thought of getting one. Before the blackberry rush of 2008.

Why? Not for features. But because It was built like a rock. For 7 years I used one BlackBerry or another. My last one being the Bold 2. All solid phones.

Never jumped on the sidekick bandwagon because they felt cheap. Never going to jump on the Samsung Galaxy bandwagon because the S4 feels cheap to me.

I'm not defending my HTC One purchase and could care less that you bought an S4. I'm about build quality. not features. And I'm certainly not going to leave a solidly built iPhone 4 and 4s for some cheap plastic phone with cartoon icons. I put more stock on build quality than I do fancy features.

Do I need my phone to move when I wave at it? Or scroll when my eyes move? Or change the channel on my TV?

No.

Email. Web. Connectivity. Productivity = smartphone to me. And add apps in there and it pretty much makes the phone whatever you want to be.

The Samsung's screen is its only selling point. Beyond that people point to the million and one Samsung gimmick apps and the gimmick features that you'll never use unless you're showing your friends. A better build quality is more important than that shyt. So I went with the HTC One.
