NBA dropped the ball by not pushing Hubie more to the forefront. He is the only basketball commentator where I would watch a game simply because he was working it.

He actually made you care about the fundamentals of basketball.

Dude was older than most of us are now when he watched Wilt & Bill duke it out.

Imagine how much NBA knowledge we feel we would have if we followed the NBA for another 50 years and could tell youngins then how much we've seen the game evolve.

Then realize that instead of where we are at now (posting on the Coli about the games with our takes), Hubie 50 years ago was coaching Kareem and Oscar to the NBA Finals as an assistant coach for the Bucks And he's still following all the teams and players now on a day to day basis at a professional level.

What a f*cking legend.

If Bron breaks Kareem's record against the Bucks, I hope Hubie's there. Incredible career.
