Majority of public housing/ section 8 reciepients are required to either work or go to school full time .You don’t get a deduction because your not working to watch your kids
Let me help you understand something .
If you qualify for section 8 then there is a 99% chance you also qualify for food stamps and childcare and insurance . All paid for by the government . Look it up . They all pretty much follow the same income restrictions.
You MIGHT have to pay a co pay towards child care .
These doctor bills and transportation bills and medical bills your talking about aren’t real. Your just telling me what you think is going on .
I can 100% guarantee you will never meet a woman paying for child care and insurance out of pocket and still receive section 8. LEGALLY
People literally take they husband/boyfriend off they’re cases to avoid losing the benefits because by the government standards that’s too much money for the household .
Think about what your telling me .
A single mother struggling to survive is paying child care out of pocket and insurance .
Do you know how much the average daycare charges a week? Do you know what insurance costs out of pocket?
something seems off about your generalization. I think there are some variables that change from location to location.I know people in PA that work full time, pay company insurance outta their paycheck, and still qualify for section 8 & food stamps. I'm talking about single parents making 10 to 15 plus per hour.
Every daycare pretty much requires a copay along with the Childcare Network subsidy. For example my cousin pays a 35 dollar copay required by the daycare plud the subsidised rate of 50 dollars, every week.
And her food stamps don't last the month.
Her housing isn't section 8, but its income based and capped below market value. Her rent is like 700 for a townhouse.
I do know people in public housing and if they are without a job there is a minimum of like 50 dollars regardless.
My overall point is, I see no reason to fuk with poor people who are already working or fall in hard times.
it's easier to shyt on poor people than a white collar criminal that misuses public funds

That said, the majority of blacks in housing programs live in high poverty areas unlike their white counterparts.
