And it also appears you have no idea the way social institutions work either, because there are plenty of Black men on welfare.

"Minority women in particular are far more likely than their male counterparts to have used food stamps. About four-in-ten black women (39%) have gotten help compared with 21% of black men."

http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tan...cs-and-demographics-of-food-stamp-recipients/

"There were about 2.04 million adults living in TANF households in FY 2010. 33 percent were African-American. Most TANF adult recipients were women, as men only represented 14.8 percent of adult recipients. "

i agree with the idea for many, but the article is not well-written.

and don't bring up marriage statistics or dating stats because that really isn't what i'm meaning. i know a couple right now where the male is always telling the girl how much he dislikes her appearance & everything just so happens to be racial (i.e. skin). it is obvious he doesn't like her but settled for her

and yes, i'd probably agree with a title stating the same about bw on bm, but to a lesser degree.
Wait, so just because you know this couple who has these problems, you think is epidemic in our community?:wtf:

You keep breaking my soul.:mjcry:

I hate these Dear White People bed wench tricks.

it was simply an example to show that being with someone doesn't mean you like them physically. if it was not common, then i would not have listed it.

okay but beyonce Rihanna gabrielle union michelle Obama are not mixed.....and just because she married does not mean she cant speak on an obvious problem.

shameful how BW get so much blind support in media to put out bullshyt like this. you wont find hypocrites like @GiGi complaining either.

"My boyfriend and I were having a conversation (he is black and Puerto Rican) about black men vs black women. It started getting intense and I said, "you don't get it! Black men are viewed as sexy and in a sense a "trophy" for another race, but black women are never deemed the most attractive. Other races are always seen as a trophy on the arm of a black man."

these women are so dumb its sad. they don't realize the deliberate trap setup for both genders. whites will promote black males in the media more often than black women. giving BM an ego boost and a sense of pride, while they reject us in the workforce. conversely, they'll reject black men in the workforce in favor of black women, but they wont receive the same media promotion. it makes BW dislike BM for reasons outside our control, and it makes BM resent BW for reasons outside of their control.

but the nerve of this chick basically praising her mixed race boyfriends hair, then being mad when he says he doesn't want their son to have hair like her. both of them feel the same exact way, he's just bold enough to express it.

"Black Women Are Unattractive"
I'm going to leave out Beyonce and Rihanna because duh. But have you met a woman named Gabrielle Union? Michelle Obama? Halle Berry? Iman? Vanessa Williams
"

that's right, best to way to prove black women are beauty is to pick a bunch of mixed and biracial women :blessed:

"Black Women Wear Weaves... I Like Good Hair"
This is probably the one that irritates me the most. Do men not realize all races of women are capable of wearing weaves and clip-ins?
"

white women do it too, the black womans #1 scape goat :blessed:

"I know I'm an attractive female with a lot to offer. I have a degree, two actually, including a masters. I am intelligent, can hold a conversation and come from a background more like The Cosby's then the PJs (do you remember that show? I digress...) I know how to cook and I am known for being "everyone's cheerleader" (supportive).

Why do I feel so invisible sometimes then? Passed over?
"

this chick is supposedly married to a black and rican dude yet she's still whining about not being picked :what: :camby: black women can be so pathetic

Why would you even write an article like this and air this shyt out on a popular website?

How stupid and selfish do you have to be?

Imagine the Jews putting shyt like this out there...

We're a fukking failed race.

Sometimes I just want to give up. Yeah I went there.

I didn't have a problem with much of the article. What she said is also what I've observed IRL. :yeshrug: That being said, I don't think this should've ever been posted on HuffPost. Ebony or Jet or something, ok. But HuffPost? :what:

I would be one of the people to say I don't like extensions, weaves, etc., but I know all types of women do that and I wouldn't ever use that lame excuse to justify a self-hating tendency to "prefer" non-Black women.

okay so black parent and half black parent equals mixed/white to you....

they black bruh

- Iman was born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 1, 1990. She grew up in Los Angeles, California. Her mother is half Korean and half African American, and her father is African American.

- Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born on February 20, 1988, in Saint Michael, Barbados. Her mother is Monica Braithwaite, a retired Afro-Guyanese accountant, and her father is Ronald Fenty, a warehouse supervisor of Barbadian and Irish descent.

- Beyoncé's name is a tribute to her mother's maiden name. Beyoncé's younger sister Solange is also a singer. Mathew is African-American, while Tina is of Louisiana Creole descent (with African, Native American, French, and 1/16th Irish, ancestry).

but you're a mixed breed yourself, so i see why you've gotta come to their defense :cape:

i've never met a non-black woman that lives off weave and i doubt you have either. when 80% of white women start wearing glued in afro-textured hair 28 days out of 30, you'll have a point.

and i dont think anyone uses hair to justify dating outside of their race. most people i know that date outside notice the clear difference in attitude and behavior between the races over all else.

this is affected by prison though. if you have a felony you can't get them & i'd be willing to bet the bulk of bm getting in trouble with the law were poor.

To an extent, this is true. But what other group has been taught and conditioned to hate their hair as much as people of Afrikan descent? None... so of course the percentage would be lower in other groups.

yeah, y'all can keep claiming these light bright nose job having females as the most attractive of black women, see if it doesn't bite you in the ass 100% of the time.

and you're wrong. a black woman that's taken shouldn't be up there talking about how she feels invisible and passed over because black men aren't acknowledging her. it makes absolutely no sense and its disrespectful to her guy.

okay, let me hear that from the weave wearers now.

cus if you ask them, they only do it because it's a style and there's nothing wrong with weave.
