nikka just stop

In the NWO documentary Nash himself said Hoegan's heel promos made him go :snoop: during the video packages they did, but luckily the video guy was able to do some heavy editing to make less cartoonish

Man the audiences arent as different. different cultures, same audience... it all boils down to marketing.

Most of the people who watch wrestling arent net geeks like us, wrestling is basically the equivalent to Disney on Ice at this point. It's just a traveling play. These fans now, for the most part don't have the same attachment to the smark shyt that we are into. We're the equivalent of underground rap heads, complaining about the good old days. It's the exact same thing because we r part of the audience.

The Rock is like the Jay Z of wrestling, nikkas will always check him out even if what he's doing aint as relevant or good as before. Just based off of nostalgia. But he can't drive the game like he did during his prime. He does a surprise performance its like "ooohhhh" but you aint gonna bump his new shyt like THAT...

Hogan is a Run DMC, they r legends, but NOBODY cares... he can't put anyone over. Hogan has burned his flame completely out. His time for putting people over was 10 years ago. That was his novelty era. RIGHT NOW, the teen audience, knows Hogan, like we knew Bob Backlund... actually... his 2nd WWE run was his Backlund "Chicken Wing" era. Now he's just like "awww look at Grandpa" thing.

The part timer's thing is overblown. Jericho, Brock, Rock, Batista... 4 part timers, am i right? Thats not really shyt... and with the exception of Brock, they can't put anyone over. Because this new generation doesnt know them. It's like when Superfly Snuka used to job every now and then. I had zero investment. He didnt make me like any other performer any more or less. I just wanted to see Razor Ramon and shyt. fukk out the ring grandpa, where's Daniel Bryan.

It's just time for new nikkas. Get that dusty fukk a house, let him work at his racist ass restaurant and stay the fukk off my tv. thats simple...

What a waste of time posting this was....

fukk Nash, nikka we r the ones who put money in their pockets! I was a fan... everybody came to school the next day like "YO HULK HOGAN IS A BAD GUY!?" I was a kid at the time wrestlings for kids.

We werent talking about work rate and promo ability. Hulk Hogan was a bad guy after being the greatest good guy ever, thats why NWO was successful.

fukk video packages and editing guys and all that. Hogan got them over. It just is what it is. This shyt aint rocket science.

If they different cultures that's a pretty big difference lo but I digress

You're thinking of Hogan as if Im saying he should be in the ring wrestling and Im not saying that at all. Im saying you can have him as a TV personality in a GM role or some recurring role, basically in a more controlled version of his TNA tenure and the idea was he has crew of wrestlers like what Immortal was. As I mentioned, they clearly made some mistakes in managing his time there but the idea probably is worth it if there gonna tread out used ideas like the authority and Cena anyway. That's why they always get a lot of press when dudes comeback be it Bret, Hogan, Warrior. Yes obviously its to do with coming back and reconciling the first time around but ask yourself: Why is Old School Raw always one of the highest rated shows each year? Why is the network selling point the library? Most casual people if you talk to them about wrestling its not always about the now. So what can they do to fix that?

Nostalgia and familiar faces sell.

Believe me, Im with you that we have a generation of great wrestlers like Bryan but at the same time, you need kinda to bring the familiar faces to get people to tune in and THEN they get introduced to the new guys and stay. Cause right now if I tried any of my boys to a house show that has Cena, Ziggler, Ambrose, Rollins, Cesaro they go "Man I don't know these dudes, I'd go but I don't think they worth my money" that mentality is there a bit.

If you've got Hogan or an Austin on the payroll and he obviously does promos for them to get press and is an ambassador, I don't see anything wrong with bringing him in a on screen role GM type/Manager role every now and then (not always just on occasion during the year). Besides it'll refreshen and reinvent him a little. And then for the ring you bring in a Jericho or a RVD or before the re-signing maybe an Angle or a Rock for a few last runs. And you got that balance. That's what made a year like 2002 so solid

The reason you even say to get his old ass off the screen is because he sounds like a old robot repeating the same catchphrases. I agree with you that its tiring, Im just saying what they can do to use him more effectively while hes out promoting stuff.

I heard some cheers, but anyway it wasn't a wrestling crowd :yeshrug:

WWE does need to stop shilling him out though, they got the GOAT at Vince Offer status
