As our primary objective as an organism is to reproduce and ensure the continuation of our DNA, we will always be in competition with each other for rescources, land and opportunities. As a culture we can strive to further equality and brotherhood but i believe that will only happen if we face a common threat that decimates a good portion of our population and puts us in an adapt or die situation(apocalyptic event). As long as we are given the opportunity to fukk each other over we will continue to do so with no regard for the outcome.Kapitalism figured that out a long time ago, greed correlates directly to survival and growth and as long as the system rewards and encourages greed we will be right where we are cause of the inherent rewards greed can provide for you and your offspring .For the 1% ,hard work is a myth perpatuated to keep those born without access to real wealth on the hamster wheel..my take on our society is pessimistic,we are bound to make the same mistakes as any civilisation before us.Nothing lasts forever and humans are more often than not the architects of their own demise.

All of you sound like your repeating thoughts and ideas from people channelling 'extraterrestrial' beings or material composed via automatoc writing from 'ascended masters'

You are so lost and so foolish.
95% of my OP post is asking questions breh. Never claimed to have any answers or profound wisdom on the topic

So feel free to contribute and enlighten us

Humanity has never been about "getting along" or uniting. No matter what the context, any given society has it's own idea of what a "good" life is, and of the reasonable means to attain it. Obviously, as we have seen throughout history, those definitions vary widely from one society to the next. So even if all societies wanted to unify (most don't), you will always have societies who believe that their way of doing things is the "right" one. And why wouldn't they? It's what they know and have been doing for centuries. So when push come to shove, they will try in various ways to impose their ways on other societies, and the most powerful will emerge victorious in this "united" world, which really only validates the pre-existing power structure. And even in the event of some global issue that would "force" us to "unite" to fight a common enemy, even there you will have factions insisting that their way of fighting is the "right" one, thus preempting power if/once that enemy is defeated. That's what happens in all wars, the whole "put differences aside" is mostly bullshyt : factions are always positionning themselves.

And gnosis means what? Knowledge from experience.

Gnosticism was nothing more than b*stardized Christianity.

They tried to answer the same questions, but blamed the 'Creator' for the state of the world rather than humanity.

It's seen a resurgence in the past 40 years due to MSM, but, no, it ain't new or your own experience, whatsoever.

Obviously we have lots of things separating us right now (religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, culture, class, age, politics etc...etc)

I'm assuming that ultimately the end goal is to eventually erase all things that separate us and become one

is that not true?

or are we destined to fight and have violent disagreements for all eternity?

is an "other" always needed in order for things to function properly?

are we too stuck in traditions for that to even be a real possibility?

When people stop focusing so much on what separates them, they'll be able to move forward more efficiently. Humanity doesn't need to erase all of those things. Folks just need to realize that a different person is going to be different, and there's nothing wrong with that. The endgame is staying alive and that doesn't always have to come around the expense of another person.

The fact of the matter is this isn't true. Most people don't just want to live a certain way they want the world to be a certain way or alteast their environment which includes people. So for the most part it will almost always come at the expenae of other people. The endgame youre talking about is one part of the truth.

Endgame is same as any life form endless propagation / expansion.:ehh:

:jbhmm:
Now what are some of the long terms stages of that propagation / expansion would be a better question.
  • Achieve some stable form of global governance(cacs determining huge chunks of what humanity knows & practices ain't gone last)
  • Sustain permanent life on other planets, moons, and stations
  • Expand to other planets in the solar system utilizing that stable governance as a model for humans that grow up on different planets not feeling kinship to earth and wanting to govern themselves.
  • Achieve some stable form of solar system governance(learning from human expansion on earth and not making the same mistakes)
  • TIPPING POINT: Achieve reliable interstellar travel(this will allow use to reach other solar systems there by largely guaranteeing human propagation)

Main point being that at some point the earth will undergo another extinction level event, we need to be off world sustainable by then. Also at some point the sun will go nova, we need to be interstellar by then. Everything else is just human governance & project management. (we simply assume the longevity of earth & sun ...water to a lessor extent)

Now we can also get into a human placement in an A.I. world conversation but I'm talking about the base level. That A.I. won't be doing much either after a 20 mile wide asteroid strikes.
