Over 5 trillion in trade goes through the south China sea that will essentially be cut off. All those cheap chinese products done. Those covid shortages will look light. Plus technological progress will be stopped essentially. That's why TSMC is making factories in the US. Those integrated circuits are in EVERYTHING. China's economy will be messed up. Our economy will suffer for a bit and it will hurt the average american pretty bad. Gen Z already showed that they rather have Tik Tok and convience over safety and security. We would push them back but it would fukk the world over for decades.
