Remember, most of the current and past Genesis sedans and coupes came with its own Genesis badge, so it seems like this was the plan all along. So it makes sense to keep it Genesis. Plus Infinit moved everything to Q__ so nobody is really gonna think Infiniti when they here "Genesis G_" after a while.

yeah that bentley logo rip off. and the G series infiniti's are the most popular and will be for many more years until people can cop the redesigned Q's used for a cheap price and replace their G's. People are still buying used G37's and G35's everyday. The Genesis is a nice looking car tho, don't get me wrong.

they aren't enthusiasts tho. well they won't be confused if you say I have a Genesis G70...but if you just say I have a G70....Most people will think oh you mean the infiniti?

I have a GS350 and people automatically know its a lexus. I also have an FX35 and people automatically know thats an infiniti.

There's only G35 and G37 though. I mean, I get it. But Infiniti's not even going with G anymore, haven't since what, 2007? It just won't be an issue like that I feel; not with the average consumer anyway. Like I said, if you're checking for a used G37, you know what that car is. There's no confusion.

They just stopped doing the G last year and switched everything to Q last year lol. They still sell the G37 (Q40) along side the Q70 that was suppose to replace it. Dumb ass hell but whatever.
